The story of Hazrat Abu Dharr Ghaffari Qari (may Allah be pleased with him) An incident of Hazrat Abu Dharr Ghaffari (may Allah be pleased with him) occurred that he was under the rule of Hazrat Amir Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) in Syria. Abu Dharr Ghaffari (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say that accumulating money and spending it all in the way of Allah and Hazrat Amir Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) spent all his wealth
It is not permissible to do this and Hazrat Amir Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say that giving for the sake of Allah means paying Zakat.
