Hazrat Abdullah bin Saad (RA) sought permission from Hazrat Uthman (RA) to invade North Africa. Africa was also spoken of as a group of countries that are now located in the northern part of the African continent, namely Tripoli, Morocco, etc,Hazrat Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) gave permission to Abdullah bin Saad (may Allah be pleased with him) to kill the army. He left Egypt with ten thousand soldiers and defeated the rulers of Barqa region,Amr ibn al-'Aas also invaded the government and forced him to pay the jizya, and later he became independent on the spot.
