Carmelo Anthony shares Kobe Bryant 'war' story in front of Lakers legend's birthday
Carmelo Anthony on Saturday inspected his epic "fight' with Kobe Bryant during the 2009 Western Conference Finals when his Denver Nuggets played the Los Angeles Lakers.
Anthony, who as of late endorsed with the Lakers in the offseason, disclosed to Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson on the "All The Smoke" webcast he and Bryant turned out to be close even before the 2008 Olympics.
"The best, man," Anthony said of the Lakers legend
"That was my subsequent where I and Kob became – before that we went to the Olympics. We turned out to be exceptionally close. Yet, we turned out to be close on some discourteous s—. You know Kob, he going into your neck. He elbowing you. I had my interlaces in those days, as well, so he contacting my head. I'm similar to, 'Don't contact my head. Try not to contact me no more, dawg.' He's grinning. He's tossing his little s—t elbows, and '09 came, and it resembled, I recollect that we embraced before the game, and he resembled, 'It's conflict.' I said, 'It's conflict. We should get it. It ain't going to be not much,'" Anthony said.

In the meeting finals, Bryant found the middle value of 34 focuses per game and Anthony arrived at the midpoint of 27.5 focuses per game.
